Intracytoplasmic sperm injection – ICSI)

The technique of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is now used in the vast majority of cases in IVF , since it achieves higher rates of oocyte fertilization.

Via the ICSI technique a single, healthy sperm is injected with a special needle into the cytoplasm of the oocyte to fertilse it.
